My name is Sarah Jenkins, and I currently live in Austin, Texas. I just graduated from the University of Texas and I'm still in the process of finding a job (anyone hiring?!). I grew up in the United Methodist Church, and truly found my faith at the Texas Wesley Foundation during my four years at college. During that time I came to understand what it meant to fully rely on God, and how to have a real, honest-to-goodness relationship with Christ. Towards the end of my final semester in college, God gave me a vision for this blog as a way to reach out to young women who have been rather inculcated by the church (in other words, they've heard the stories so many times, they are meaningless). I have a passion for freeing people from legalism, and a desire to open their eyes to the reality of love that Christ has for us.
